What could be more Christmasy than a bit of festive gingerbread house making! The tradition of making Gingerbread houses dates back to the early 1800's and originated in Germany as a result of the publication of Grimm's fairy tale Hansel & Gretel. These became incredibly popular around Christmas time.
So, How does the Gingerbread House Making work?
The construction tends to made of baked gingerbread dough assembled with melted sugar and then decorated with icing sugar. It's this icing and decoration stage that will really let your artistic flair be unleashed!
Each team is given their basic ginger bread structure, a few design ideas and ingredients to decorate the houses, it is then their task to construct and decorate their festive treat.
A great bit of festive fun with this christmas themed team building activity that will also give you something to take home to impress your nearest and dearest!
We can also do this event virtually. We package and send out kits to participants and conduct the workshop via video conference. A great way to get international teams together prior to Christmas!
