Brand New Show - The Traitor

After the success of the Traitors TV show, our Murder Mystery team have concocted a brand new show to give you a flavour or the show by building it into this thrilling new Murder Mystery!

Scenario
The year is 1954. A group of individuals meet at a remote location. The meeting has been planned by Peregrine Worsfold, who invited everyone one month ago. The guests include his estranged son, his secretary and companion, a business associate, and a soldier with whom his godson fought in the war. They have been lured to the meeting with promises of financial gain or threats.

Each of the guests (the clients) will also be given an envelope at the start of dinner. Inside each is a clue. One of the envelopes contains the identity of the murderer. The guests must attempt to discover the identity of the murderer, although for one of them the challenge is to conceal what they know.

So, How Does Murder Mystery Work?
The first thing is to select your Murder Mystery theme - do you want something historic, fictional of contemporary?

Once decided, we like the event to be a surprise for most of the participants as it can add to the drama and confusion - we recently ran a full day Murder Mystery and the guests didn't know they were part of the event until several hours in!

We can help you to select the best option for you, and they will always be great fun and test your powers of deduction to the maximum!

The evening begins with a civilised pre-dinner drink, only to be rudely interrupted by a gruesome murder! Will your team be able to ask the main suspects the right questions in order to unmask the murderer?

We can also deliver these sessions virtually.

Other Scenarios include:

The Legend of Bloodstone

The Blood Stone is the ancient site in the village of Westham, the most westerly point in Midshire, where Uther The Unfortunate was slain by Gormhuld Forkbeard at the end of a battle between English and Danish forces in the 9th Century; his body left prostate on a large stone, with his blood seeping into the soil beneath. Bloodstone Castle was built upon this site, and has seen many bloody incidents over the years. Tonight is no exception with not one but two unexplained deaths to be dealt with.

Knave of Hearts - Valentine Theme

Valentine Crush runs the successful Hungry Hearts dating and dining agency. She promises to find you the partner of your dreams while enjoying a delicious meal. Her strategy is to really get to know her clients, not just their likes and dislikes but their hopes and dreams, their fears and their fetishes. When Valentine is found dead in her offices, shot through the heart, Inspector Willy Catchem starts to wonder whether she knew too much and visits Warbrook House to talk to her clients.

Reading of the Will - Agatha Christie style

The occasion is the reading of the will of the late Lord Crump. The coroner ruled that his death was natural causes, but gossips downstairs are suggesting that he had company on that fateful night and it was not his wife. Leading the mourners is his wife, Lady Margaret. She was Lord Crump's second wife after his first wife, a well know film star, was killed in a riding accident.

Also present are the Late Lord Crump's son Roland, a gambler with delusions of adequacy, and his younger brother Oswald, an industrialist with a big ego. He's self-made and worships his creator.

The reading of the will is suddenly disrupted by the arrival of a detective. Annie Messages, a legal secretary with Lord Crump's Solicitors Canwee, Billem & Howe, has been found dead at the company offices. Foul play is suspected!

Poirot & The Case of The Fabergé Egg - Agatha Christie style

Colonel Abercrombie is in possession of a priceless Fabergé Egg. He has decided that the time has come to sell it at auction.

A party has assembled at the Colonel's town house with guests including an antiques expert and two ladies, both of whom have the Colonel's affections in their sights.

His old friend, Hercule Poirot, decides to take a break in his travels to attend the auction, which promises to be an exciting occasion. When Poirot arrives he is greeted by the colonel’s manservant Farouk with alarming news. The colonel has been found dead in suspicious circumstances and the priceless egg is missing.

Cluedon't Manor - Cludo Tribute

Cluedon't Manor is our tribute to the legendary board game Cluedo. You are guests of Dr Black, a renowned reptile specialist, in his country house where he is keen to show off his latest specimen - the poisonous Brazilian Tree Frog. Other guests include his niece Rayne Bowe, the dashing Captain Brown, Reverend Green and the mysterious Ruby Scarlett. Sherrie White, Dr Black's loyal cook and housekeeper, is bustling around making sure that everyone is looked after.

Sherlock Holmes and the Case of Blue Majesty

Blue Majesty is a flawless 300 carat diamond that has recently been discovered in Africa. Fenton Booth is a landowner, high on breeding but low on cash. His situation could be described a perilous, but he does own shares in the mine that has discovered the Blue Majesty. An employee of the mine is visiting to authenticate his shares. Meanwhile a notorious thief has escaped from prison and is loose on the moors nearby.

Could this be a recipe for murder? That should be no mystery to the famous detective Sherlock Holmes.

The Vicar’s Tea Party

Reverend Green, vicar of the local church at Littleton in Midshire has called his flock together in the village hall to discuss fund raising activities to repair the spire of the church.

All of the local parishioners are present including Sheila Bull of The Nag's Head, and other well known village characters.

Various fund raising activities are proposed by the locals but after much debate the meeting becomes impossible to continue as personal feuds come to the fore, money issues lead to fights and 'love thy neighbour' seems to have a new meaning.

However before the issues raised at the meeting can be resolved a death occurs. Who is responsible? Surely no-one from this sleepy English village could be responsible for committing such an act of foul play.

The Great Flatsby – 1920’s style

The year is 1925 and a period that will become known as The Roaring 20s has just begun. This would all end with the Wall Street Crash of 1929, but for now society is in the grip of a celebratory mood. Join us for the party.

Trey Flatsby is an enigmatic and highly successful American businessman who has purchased an estate in England. He is a complex character, at one moment holding parties for the rich and powerful; and at the next he will disappear, a man of unadvertised comings and goings often to be found where trouble is brewing.

A Date With Death - Contemporary, game show, reality TV themed

You join us for the pilot of Old Flames, a new quiz show which the producers hope will turn into a highly successful television show. Simon Trowell, a successful producer, is due to visit to assess the format and the ambitious writer behind the show wants everything to go to plan. The contestants are said to be meeting for the first time, but the show's creators have cunningly assembled a group of people with connections in the past hoping to make great TV out of the fireworks that are bound to fly.

When one of the contestants is found murdered the evening soon turns into a disaster. Can you help Inspector Catchem to find the killer?

James Bond - A Meeting of Spies

The 00 section is meeting at a safe house. Agents enter the room and secure it, awaiting the arrival of M. James Bond is away on a mission in North Korea. 004 and 006 are present, as is loyal secretary Pocketmoney and a Russian agent on a 'friendly' exchange - WD40.

A body has been found at MI6. National security is under threat and, under the Police and Public Partnership Scheme, your help is needed to solve this crime before it becomes an issue of national security.

Who Killed Father Christmas - Christmas theme

Hugh and Edith Pugh runs Camberwick Toys and business, it has to be said, is going fairly well. Their Father Christmas, played by John Grubb, has been a big success and profits have risen. Their sales manager, Cuthbert Dibble, is working hard and handyman Barney McGrew has been helping out. So far, so good.

However, Hugh hates Edith and only married her because her grandfather founded the company and he needs money to fund a mid life crisis. Barney McGrew is a man with a violent past who thinks he should have got the Father Christmas job and Cuthbert Dibble has a drug problem and a questionable relationship with local criminal William 'Windy' Miller.

So, there it is. All is not well with the two Pughs, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert Dibble and one of them kills Grubb.

Ask us if you would like other themes, we have many more!
