Round The Island Race Yacht Charter
So, How Does Round The Island Race Yacht Charter Work? The annual J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race is a one day full-on race. Starting in the early hours of the morning and going on into the afternoon, you will race against over 1,700 boats and more than 16,000 sailors around the Isle of Wight covering a 50 nautical mile course. It is one of the larges races in the world and the fourth largest participation sporting event in the UK!
Your Yacht Charter package will include: Two day charter of your chosen yacht (Pre-race training day and Race day) Fully qualified skipper and professional crew Full Round the Island race package - fuel, mooring, race insurance, race sails, RTIT Yacht Charter entry, wet weather clothing. Accommodation on board or in Cowes, Isle of Wight Regatta support from the land-based team Breakfast (bacon rolls - you will need the energy!) and lunch provided as standard

Example Itinerary: Day 1 - Pre-Training Race Day - strongly advised for clients to get accustomed to the boat, commands and working as a smooth running machine! After training, guests will be able to head to their chosen accommodation in Cowes, Isle of Wight. Restaurants can be pre-booked or you can head to one of the many fantastic pubs or into the Race tents only a short walk from the mooring.
Day 2 - Race Day - bright and early start accompanied with fresh bacon rolls on board the boat. Boats will then leave the marina at their required time to ensure they are ready on the water for their class start, (dependent on boat and class - time can be from 06.50 to 08.30). RTIT Yacht Charter Challenge will begin! Upon crossing the finish line, head back into the marina for canapés and Champagne reception, if you have more than one boat, you can raft up and celebrate completion with the rest of the team and share stories. Next stop is Cowes for the beer tents and pubs or back on the Ferry to the mainland.
