During our Segway riding events, there is always one question that is asked by every team that uses these unique machines - how much are they?! I want one! Experience them for yourselves as a stand alone Segway Adventure or as part of a larger event. Just don't NOT book them!
So, How Does Segway Riding Work?
One of the first things to understand is the basic question of what is a Segway? The real name for this type of machine is a 'self balancing scooter'. However, as with vacuum cleaners, we have taken a dominant brand name (Hoover for cleaners), Segway, and used that to describe them.
These two wheeled off-road Segways never stop entertaining as a team building activity. When you first get onto one, all your senses are telling you that it should not be possible for the side-by-side wheels to balance. However, what you don't see are the several gyroscopes working away to do just that, keep you upright and give you a corporate team building experience you will never forget.
The activity can take place as part of a bigger team building programme, such as a
Motorised day or our
Country Sports package, or as a stand alone Segway Safari event.
