As most of us tend to work inside for most if not all of the year, it makes a nice change to be able to get outside and enjoy the elements for a change! It can be far more convenient as we work with a lot of venues that have an abundance of grounds making it perfect for many of our events. We even have a permanent base at the Four Seasons Hampshire Hotel where our permanent set up is a fantastic option all year round.
Yes, as is intense sunshine! Where possible, our events will have a range of pop up gazeboes to provide shelter from the elements. We also have a selection of rain jackets available for clients if their coats aren’t exactly waterproof! Advice is also provided in terms of suitable clothing and we will issue additional guidance a few days prior once a more accurate weather forecast is available.
The popularity of certain Team Building Events over the years has chopped and changed, however, I’d have to say that our Krypton Maze is our most popular Outdoor Team Building Event closely followed by Country Sports. Both have great flexibility in terms of timing and are super inclusive. A few of our other most popular activities are: Whacky Racers - Teams are given a basic wooden Go-Kart and tasked with building their very own Whacky Racer. GPS Treasure Hunts - This has to be our most flexible activity - we can run them absolutely anywhere on earth! Our software allows us to drop pins in any location and questions can be customised to fit any theme or company objective. All For One - our best collaboration event where teams get to contribute to a number of different projects at different stages - either beginning one, continuing one or finishing one. One of the activities we get asked about again and again is Duck Herding! If you only have a small budget and a few people, this can be run as a stand alone activity which is both entertaining, fun and impactful. With a bigger budget, the same amount of people can tag on as many other Country Sports options as they wish!
Our Krypton Maze is a fast moving competitive puzzle fest where we can have up to 5 teams at a time in a race to solve the same task in a maximum of 20 minutes per challenge. The top teams at the end play off in The Dome to grab as many ticker tapes as possible. With the number of challenges available, groups can be in the hundreds! With ample space, a number of Country Sports options also works well with multiple set ups available to cater for large groups at each activity. The best advice on clothing for attending an Outdoor Teambuilding Event is to dress for the weather! In summer, t-sirt and shorts are absolutely fine, but you may want to include a hat for sun protection and sun cream. A pair of shoes that are comnfortable for walking a few miles in are also a good choice.
