Getting the most out of your Team Away Days.
We spend more time at work than we do anywhere else (our bed runs a close second!). With this in mind, we want to create an environment where people feel comfortable with each other and like to spend time together.
A key part of this is to have regular and impactful Team Away Days - a great way to build cohesion between team members.
A crucial component on choosing your activity is to understand whats required within the team. Do you need to work on understanding and cohesion, or is it a way to reward performance or creatr team memories. The best way to understand this is by defining the sessions as Team Building or Team Bonding.

1. Belbin Team Roles Workshop
A great session to help understand the behaviours people exhibit in a team and to get a snapshop of how certain people percieve your behaviour. Profiles are completed in advance and we review teamwork and communication during the session.
2. All For One
Creative and collaborative, this activity involves a number of different projects that each team contriute towards.
3. Dragon's Den
A great way to inject innovation to an away day - teams have to come up with new products or services that don't currently exhist within their company and present their ideas to a panel of judges.
4. The Krypton Maze
An excellent team session which introduces competition between teams as they attempt to complete a number of short puzzles.
5. Countdown
A great competitive activity with larger teams completing as many of the possible 121 challenges as they can - a great activity to emphasise the different skills available within a team.
