Abbey House Hotel & Gardens is an upscale 4-star hotel located in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. Set within 14 acres of private woodland and landscaped gardens, the property is a Grade II* listed Neo-Elizabethan mansion designed by renowned architect Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1914. It is a popular wedding and corporate event venue and is situated immediately adjacent to the historic ruins of Furness Abbey. The venue has 60 individually designed rooms split between the original historic building and the modern Cavendish Wing. Originally built as a guest house for Vickers Ltd, it has hosted King George V and other members of the Royal Family.
